This volunteer role is a remote administrative position that can be done from anywhere (with a computer). The Vetting team is a crucial part of our organization as we rescue roughly 40-60 dogs a month, which equals A LOT of vetting care to be managed! The Vetting team works with fosters, adopters, and our vet partners to complete the vetting process for our pups from start to finish.
- This role involves lots of communication and attention to detail!
- We work with rescue software that helps streamline all processes, so we're looking for people that are somewhat tech savvy who are willing and able to learn.
- Volunteers MUST reside in North America, be able to check and respond to emails and Slack messages daily and must be organized!
- MUST have experience working with Excel or Google Sheets, be able to check and respond to emails daily and have dog caretaking experience. Being well-organized is key! The Vetting Coordinator role is strictly remote and 100% computer based, so there is no direct interaction with the dogs. Please note that this position requires the ability to check and respond to emails on a daily basis and a minimum 6-month commitment.**
