    Description

Give a Foster Child a Voice: Make a Difference as a CASA Volunteer!

Transform the lives of children in foster care. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

    What Does a CASA Do?

CASAs are trained volunteers appointed by a judge to be the "eyes and ears of the court and the voice of the child." By spending one-on-one time with their assigned child, CASAs:

    • Monitor the child’s care and progress.
    • Provide child-focused recommendations to the court.
    • Advocate for the child’s best interests in the courtroom, classroom, and at home.

Our thorough training program provides you with the knowledge, tools, and ongoing support you need to make a lasting difference. You’ll help ensure foster children receive the medical, dental, and mental health services they need while encouraging participation in sports, arts, and extracurricular activities. Most importantly, you’ll be a stable and compassionate adult ensuring their voice is heard.

    Requirements to Volunteer:

    • At least 21 years old.
    • Have a good driving record and reliable transportation.
    • Complete a background check and provide references.
