Description
The Event Planner / Fundraiser Volunteer will coordinate fundraising events from concept through completion by assigning tasks to other volunteers within the organization as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize fundraising events
- Develop event timelines and task lists
- Identify, contact, and cultivate sponsors, donors, vendors, and community partners.
- Assist with promotional efforts, including flyers, email outreach, social media content, and community announcements
Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and fundraising preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Task oriented and focused; driven to complete projects timely
- Comfortable reaching out to potential donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Positive, professional attitude and a genuine commitment to the mission
- Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and social media platforms
