    Description

    Mission

    The mission of TVSA is support, education, and recognition for victim service providers.

    Vision

    TVSA promotes the delivery of a full range of consistent, high-quality, professional services to crime victims, their families, and communities.

    The Texas Victim Services Association (TVSA) is seeking applicants for the role of Treasurer on the TVSA Board of Directors. TVSA is a non-profit organization that provides support, education, and recognition for victim services providers.

    Board Treasurer Responsibilities

    • Chair the Finance Committee
    • Present a financial accounting report at each meeting of the membership and of the Board of Directors
    • Present an annual budget for Board approval
    • File appropriate state and federal reports and other such forms and papers as required by law or by contract
    • Perform other such duties as are assigned by the President or Board of Directors

    Qualifications:

    • Current license as a CPA
    • Must live in the state of Texas

    Time Commitment

    Hours may vary but will average 2 hours per month to include regular attendance at monthly board and committee meetings and review of monthly financial and bank statements.

    Term Length

    This position will end in May 2027 and will then be eligible for election to a full two-year term.
