If you are signing up to provide volunteer services to patients in their home or in the facility, please understand these individuals are excited to see you and come to know you. If you are able to commit to a few hours a week they are grateful.
Description
In Home: Provide respite for primary caregiver by volunteering your time and providing a watchful eye and companionship to the patient.
Nursing Home/Group Home/Assitived Living: Visit patients and provide companionship by simply being present, playing cards, listening to music or even taking patient outside to enjoy sunshine and fresh air.
In office: Administrative support. Making copies, putting together guide books, filing or other clerical duties needed.
