Description
Power Mobility Technician
- We are a Used Durable Medical Equipment store.
- Review, repair and clean power mobility devices and medical equipment in preparation for placement on the sales floor. This may include power wheelchairs, power scooters, electric travel chairs, electric patient lifts, and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.
- Provide assistance to volunteers and customers needing help with troubleshooting repair needs, repairing equipment, and completing safety checks of same.
- Test batteries, battery chargers as needed prior to installing in power mobility or electrical equipment/devices.
- Routinely checks battery charge levels of power mobility devices on sales floor.
- Assist with recycling of batteries, parts, equipment, etc. that are beyond economical repair.
