Position requires walking to/from various areas of the hospital. Wheelchair safety training provided.
Description
Are you friendly, active and looking to support patients in a hospital setting? Then join our wonderful Transport Volunteer team. Our transporters help staff get wheelchair-bound patients to various activities within the hospital. This is a non-clinical role, no hands-on, wheelchair safety training provided.
Choose your preferred shift 1- or 2x per week. Shifts available:
- Mondays - Fridays
- 9:30-3 pm
Requirements: Minimum age 16, background check for adults 18+, orientation and training provided. Must be able to push a wheelchair and stand for extended periods.
