    Description

    The Graphic Design Department brings creative concepts to life through visually compelling design work that supports the organization’s marketing and outreach efforts. Graphic Design Interns assist with brainstorming and executing creative projects, using graphic design software to produce a wide range of print and digital marketing materials. Interns collaborate closely with the Content and Marketing teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with the organization’s brand identity across all platforms. This role contributes directly to the development of engaging campaigns that communicate key messages and enhance organizational visibility.

    Responsibilities

    • Brainstorm and execute creative design projects
    • Create print and digital promotional materials
    • Use graphic design software to develop marketing assets
    • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to maintain brand consistency
    • Assist in developing visually engaging campaigns and materials
    • Support design needs for events and organizational initiatives

    Requirements

    • Basic proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
    • Strong visual communication and design skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    Preferred Background

    • Coursework or experience in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field
    • Experience creating digital and print marketing materials
    • Interest in nonprofit, healthcare, or advocacy based organizations

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 10 hours per week
    • Flexible scheduling based on academic commitments
