At Neighborhood Health Clinic, bilingual volunteers help bring hope and healing to hardworking, uninsured adults in Collier County. Clear communication is essential to good care, and your language skills help Spanish-speaking patients feel understood, respected, and confident in their health.

Bilingual volunteers support physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals during patient visits, and help throughout the Clinic with front office communication, intake interviews, and patient education. They also make follow-up calls about appointments, medications, and lab results.

Volunteers who keep a regular schedule become trusted voices for our patients and valued members of the Clinic team. Shifts can be weekly, every other week, or monthly, with on-call options available.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish

Shifts (in person at the Clinic)

• Morning: 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 12:45 – 4:00 PM
• Evening: 5:00 – 6:30 PM, supporting weekly health education classes offered at different times of the year
