    Description

    All volunteers must finalize their application and registration process through the Salvation Army's Volunteer Portal (CERVIS). Registering through Idealist does not secure your shift spot.     Our Emergency Shelter is seeking regular volunteers to serve as day monitors and assist with the following tasks:

    • Checking in clients
    • Performing breathalyzer checks
    • Opening lockers for clients
    • Assisting clients with toiletries and towels
    • Assisting with monitoring the day services room
    • General administrative tasks

    Additional information:

    • This opportunity is 18+ and will run from 9am-noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (training will be provided by staff).
    • A background check is required.
