    Description

Strong Like a Mother 5K : In-course water station volunteer

Join Home for Families for our inaugural 5K and go the distance for moms and families facing severe housing instability. With nearly 90% of our families led by strong, single moms under 34, your support will help HFF go the distance to prevent homelessness for these young moms and their families.

Assist Columbus Running Company in distributing water to our 5K participants! Cheer on runners as they pause to hydrate before continuing their race. Volunteers will help to keep the water station clean and well-supplied so our runners can get drinks efficiently. Volunteers will also be expected to assist in setting up and cleaning up the water station, with direction/assistance from CRC. Please note that this water station is in-course, meaning you will need to report to Nelson Park on race day (this is different from the starting location of the race).
