Food Resourcing - Join us at Carnation Farms in Carnation to Glean Produce for the Community!
Details
Description
Join us to glean produce for the community at Carnation Farms!
We believe everyone is entitled to fresh, healthy, and nutritious food. We have over 30 years of history and expertise in preparing and delivering meals across the greater Seattle area, producing 19 million meals for local nonprofits, shelters, respite centers, youth and adult daycare centers, and schools.
FareStart’s Food Resourcing Team works with local partners to support our food security and rescue initiatives. From our local growers, we glean any goods that are seconds, in excess, or that they would like to donate. This product will be incorporated into our Community and School Meals kitchens to provide local, nutritious food to communities experiencing food insecurity.
