    Description

Marketing and communications specialists help The Law Context connect with the communities we serve in entertaining ways. Volunteers in this role build relationships with the community while helping spread awareness of our mission. Responsibilities may include creating educational content for our official social media pages (TikTok and Instagram), editing vlogs/animations that you or a team member creates, and the ability to frame educational content in entertaining ways.

We're looking for skilled animators and vloggers who are organized, dependable, and passionate about civic education in high school or undergraduate studies. You should also be able to work as a team with others. No prior professional experience is required, though we request that you show proof of prior animations, vlogs, and or content editing that you've done in the past to help with our selection process. I would be required to edit any content for our project through editing software of your choosing. You will need proof of identity (a school ID or State-issued ID), though you may cover sensitive information, such as ID number and address. We only need your name, photo, and DOB. You also need a valid, regularly checked, professional email address. Having a working phone number is optional, but preferred. If under 18, please submit the email address of a parent or guardian for verification that you got permission for this role.

This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity. All volunteers must reside full-time in Maine.
