    Description

    Are you passionate about history and enjoy engaging with people as a tour guide? Or are you interested in museum education and field trips?

    Join our team as a volunteer docent and help bring the past to life for visitors of all ages. No experience necessary! As a docent, you will serve as a guide and educator within the museum, leading tours, answering questions, and sharing the stories behind our exhibits.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead guided tours for individuals and groups
    • Help maintain a welcoming and informative museum environment

    Qualifications

    • Interest in history, education, or community engagement
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to learn (training will be provided)

    Benefits

    Time Commitment

    Flexible scheduling available

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated days for field trips from 8:30 am to 12 pm.
    • Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are days open to the public from 10 am to 2 pm.
