Make a difference with Hospice Patients & Families!

Are you kind and caring and looking to help others in your community? Are you patient and empathic, and willing to share those gifts with others during a difficult time? If so, we may have an opportunity that's a perfect fit for you!

Residential Hospice is seeking dedicated volunteers to help patients and families during their end-of-life journey. Our volunteers provide companionship and friendship to patients wherever they are, be it at in a nursing facility or at home.

Volunteers may engage with patients in variety of ways. These activities can range from reading aloud, doing puzzles, or attending facility activities with the patient to simply listening to music, talking or holding a hand. Volunteers also may provide a respite for caregivers who are caring for a loved one, by sitting with a patient while the caregiver can take time for themselves.
