    Description

    Collaborate with staff or volunteer leads to interpret content and translate it into visually engaging layouts that align with AL!VE’s brand guidelines.

    Assist in designing marketing and communications materials, including newsletters, social media graphics, event flyers, posters, digital ads, and other collateral.

    Help with page layout and composition (print and/or digital) using appropriate software tools and techniques.

    Edit, format, and optimize content for both print and web distribution, ensuring readability, accessibility, and visual consistency.

    Maintain and organize digital assets, including images, templates, past design files, and brand assets.

    Participate in brainstorming and design review sessions; contribute creative ideas for campaigns and visual communications.

    Support final quality control: proofreading layouts, checking for consistency (colors, fonts, spacing), and ensuring materials meet brand/style guidelines.

    Document and archive completed design work, maintaining source files and export files for future use.

    Conduct research and compile key data to support strategic decision-making.

    Monitor deadlines and ensure projects and initiatives stay on track for successful completion.

    Assist in HR functions, including volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training.

    Contribute to pilot programs, offering insights and recommendations for program development and improvement.

    Review metrics data to identify organizational trends.

    Identify emerging industry trends and best practices to enhance organizational strategy and innovation.

    Monitor social media for AL!VE mentions and engagement.
