Face Friends Foundation eliminates food insecurity, educational disparities, and unequal healthcare access for youth, unemployed adults, and small business owners across Gwinnett County, Georgia, and Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica.

Our high-priority capital campaign is dedicated to establishing the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy — a permanent physical facility combining a food pantry, a commercial culinary incubator kitchen, and a technical literacy lab. Together these pillars give underserved families a direct pathway to economic independence.

The Opportunity: Front-Line Capital Campaign Closer

We are not looking for a passive advisor or an administrator. We need a high-powered, front-line closer who loves the art of the pitch.

As our Director of Major Gifts & Partnerships, you will be the primary driving force executing our Phase 1 capital campaign. You will personally identify, contact, and close individual philanthropists, corporate donors, and local business sponsors to secure $50,000 in commitments toward our $150,000 Phase 1 escrow target. Individual commitments range from $2,500 to $25,000.

This is a high-velocity, legacy-building sprint that closes on December 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Direct Pipeline Execution: Prospect, pitch, and close high-value corporate sponsorships and major individual gifts ranging from $2,500 to $25,000.
• Relationship Building: Map corporate social responsibility goals and philanthropic interests directly to the Academy's physical construction and programming needs.
• Pitch Tailoring: Actively navigate gatekeepers, connect with decision-makers, and confidently make the direct financial ask.
• Pipeline Autonomy: Track your own prospects from cold outreach to closed financial commitment.

Position Structure & Flexibility

• Role Classification: This is a pro-bono, volunteer executive staff appointment. There is no salary or financial compensation of any kind.
• Time Commitment: 3 to 5 hours per week
• Location: 100% Remote
• Schedule: 100% Asynchronous. No mandatory live staff meetings, no rigid hours. You pick up the phone, send emails, and close deals whenever it fits your week.
• Career Integration: This role is intentionally structured to run seamlessly alongside a demanding full-time professional career or business.
