SEO Functional Lead

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve keyword rankings.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Optimize on-page SEO elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking).
• Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content briefs and optimize existing content.
• Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4).
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (indexing, crawling, sitemap, robots.txt, redirects, canonical tags).
• Improve website structure and internal linking to enhance crawlability and user experience.
• Support off-page SEO initiatives such as backlink analysis and link building recommendations.
• Track SEO KPIs and prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (technical SEO, on-page SEO, and content SEO).
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and provide clear recommendations.
• Knowledge of keyword intent and content planning based on search behavior.
• Familiarity with basic HTML and SEO-related tags (H1-H3, canonical, schema, meta tags).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.

Preferred Experience (optional)

• Experience working on content-driven or lead generation websites.
• Knowledge of content strategy and SEO copywriting best practices.
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
• Experience with backlink audits and off-page SEO strategy.
