    Description

    Game Design Track Volunteers (Scratch/MakeCode)

    BuildPlayLearnLabs is seeking motivated and organized volunteers to join our Game Design Team. Help students create their own games, develop coding and storytelling skills, and learn problem-solving! These roles offers a unique opportunity to support our mission of fostering STEM education and youth development.

    The following roles are currently available:

    • Lead Instructor – Teach game design curriculum and guide class projects.
    • Assistant Instructor – Support the lead instructor and assist students during activities.
    • Classroom Mentor Provide one-on-one guidance and encouragement.
    • Support Volunteers – Assist with setup, cleanup, materials, and general student support.

    Qualifications:

    • Interest or experience in coding, game design, or creative storytelling
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Passion for education, youth, and community engagement
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

    Position Details:

    • Part-time internship with flexible hours
    • Hybrid program with opportunities to work from home
    • Work closely with the founder and lead projects
