Description
HI NYC is seeking a volunteer to design and lead a neighborhood tour in Queens for international travelers. The tour would explore one or more Queens neighborhoods, highlight local history, and may include visits to nearby eateries and shops.
Neighborhoods to tour can include but are not limited to:
- Long Island City
- Sunnyside
- Woodside
- Jackson Heights
- Woodside
- Flushing-Main Street
The Hostelling International NYC hostel hosts travelers from across the globe! Our activities aim to teach travelers about New York's rich history, the culture of our local communities/neighborhoods, and of the greater United States.

HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.
HI New York is a nonprofit hospitality and education organization and the largest hostel in North America.
