    The African American Women Trucking Association (AAWTA) is proud to return as an official media partner and host of the 2nd Annual Women in Leadership Trucking Panel at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) β€” the largest heavy-duty trucking event in North America.

    For three impactful days in Kentucky, AAWTA will engage with over 50,000+ industry professionals β€” including drivers, owner-operators, carriers, fleet leaders, educators, manufacturers, and workforce partners. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist at the AAWTA booth and help represent our mission of advancing equity, leadership, workforce development, and business ownership across trucking, logistics, and supply chain industries.

    About AAWTA

    The African American Women Trucking Association (AAWTA) is a national nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved communities β€” including women, men, youth, reentry populations, and individuals facing employment barriers β€” through workforce development, education, mentorship, wellness initiatives, and strategic partnerships within trucking and logistics.

    Through programs such as the Driven Together Education Program, leadership initiatives, and the Marketplace 2.0 Advantage Hub, AAWTA continues to build pathways into sustainable careers and entrepreneurship across the transportation ecosystem.

    Volunteer Responsibilities

    Volunteers will:

    • Welcome and engage booth visitors
    • Share information about AAWTA programs and membership
    • Distribute flyers and promotional materials
    • Assist with panel promotion and media visibility
    • Support lead capture and engagement activities
    • Represent AAWTA professionally on the expo floor

    This is a high-visibility opportunity to connect with national brands, industry leaders, and strategic partners.
