Description
StandUp for Kids is looking for volunteers who are interested in making a lasting impact by supporting young people who may be facing homelessness, instability, family conflict, foster care involvement, or other difficult life challenges.
Mentors build supportive relationships through conversation, encouragement, life-skills guidance, and positive activities. Volunteers may help with goal setting, job readiness, education support, transportation to activities, community engagement, or simply being a reliable adult who listens without judgment.
No professional counseling experienced is required. Training, support and ongoing guidance are provided.
