    Description

    Garden State Rainbow Sports: Website & Digital Operations Volunteer

    Garden State Rainbow Sports (GSRS) is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to building inclusive LGBTQ+ sports leagues and community events throughout New Jersey. While we are currently centered in Hudson County, particularly Jersey City, our long-term vision is to grow into a truly statewide LGBTQ+ sports network.

    We are seeking a skilled volunteer to support the maintenance and improvement of our Wix-based website. This role focuses on clarity, organization, and usability — not a full redesign.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and streamline website navigation
    • Update event pages and registration links
    • Improve page titles and basic SEO settings
    • Upload and organize event photos
    • Ensure links and buttons function properly
    • Recommend practical improvements to simplify layout and user flow
    • Remove outdated or redundant content

    Time Commitment

    Approximately 3–5 hours per month
