Volunteer Puppy Party Assistant

San Diego Puppy Parties brings adoptable rescue puppies to corporate events and children’s birthday parties. Each event is staffed by a Puppy Party Lead and a team of volunteers who help create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for guests and puppies alike.

What You’ll Do

As a Puppy Party Volunteer, you’ll support the event by:

• Arriving on time to help set up the puppy pen (laying down a tarp, assembling fencing, organizing supplies)
• Monitoring the puppies throughout the event, including supervising interactions and cleaning up any potty accidents
• Assisting the Puppy Party Lead with packing up supplies and loading their vehicle after the event

Time Commitment

1. Each volunteer shift is 5–3.5 hours

• , including:
  • ~1 hour of setup
  • 1–2 hour event
  • ~30 minutes of cleanup
• Volunteers are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from event locations.
• Events take place throughout San Diego County, on any day of the week—so there’s plenty of flexibility.

Who We’re Looking For

No prior experience required! We welcome:

• Dog lovers excited to help socialize adoptable puppies
• Volunteers comfortable interacting with clients and guests in a friendly, customer-facing environment

Ongoing Commitment

We're seeking volunteers who can help at least once every other month (more often is even better!).

Interest in becoming a Puppy Party Lead after gaining experience is a big plus.
