    Description

We are currently seeking volunteers for two positions:

The New Canaan Thrift Shop, 2 Locust Ave, New Canaan:

Our thrift shop is seeking volunteers to assist during the hours of 9am - 4pm daily, and 9am-1pm on Saturdays. Do you like sorting, organizing, merchandizing, and styling? We may have a great spot for you on our thrift shop team. We are looking for enthusiastic and positive people to assist at the shop on a regular and consistent basis. All proceeds from the thrift shop benefit Waveny Lifecare and VNS and Hospice of Fairfield County.

The Navigator Program, 3 Farm Rd, New Canaan:

This adult day program offers support and guidance to those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia and serves local community residents. We are seeking one or two volunteers to assist in this program between the hours of 1pm-3pm, Monday to Friday. Are you patient, empathetic, inclusive, and have good social and emotional intelligence? We are seeking volunteers interested in offering support and doing interactive activities and games in a small group setting with our Navigator participants.

If you are interested in either of the above, please email or call me.

    Best,

    Kerry
