Motivated, reliable, and organized individuals seeking part-time or full-time volunteer work or internships from May through August are encouraged to apply.

About the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival

The San Francisco Frozen Film Festival (SFFFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2006. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for independent filmmakers, youth, filmmakers of conscience, and artists from underserved communities to showcase their work to the widest possible audience.

The 2026 San Francisco Frozen Film Festival will be held both in-person and online and is open to attendees worldwide. In addition to our international festival, the SFFFF Youth Program focuses on showing underserved youth that there are real pathways into careers in the film arts. SFFFF also features annual music and art performances, youth programming, and awards presentations.

Volunteers and interns will contribute to meaningful projects, including:

    • Assisting in coordinating film premieres and working directly with filmmakers
    • Serving as a volunteer judge for the 2026 festival to help evaluate entries
    • Collecting press materials and images from filmmakers
    • Communicating with filmmakers and coordinating event logistics
