IT Web Developer Supervisor

The IT Web Developer Supervisor Intern participates in a structured, hands-on learning experience focused on technical project tracking, development workflow oversight, and team-level architecture guidelines. This role provides exposure to agile sprint planning, code review coordination, and development milestone management within a supervised and guided environment. Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.

Learning Focus Areas

Participants in this role will gain exposure to:

• Agile engineering leadership methodologies (Sprints, Stand-ups, Backlog refinement)
• Code testing, quality assurance frameworks, and deployment workflows
• Peer review guidance models and technical feedback approaches
• Full lifecycle platform tracking and sprint resource allocation

Program Activities

Participants may engage in:

• Supporting the planning, organization, and distribution of development tasks across a release cycle
• Assisting with the technical onboarding, mentoring, and code auditing of junior developer interns
• Participating in system roadmap and technical scoping workshops with senior engineers
• Collaborating with team members on structured tasks
• Communicating questions, observations, or feedback to program leadership
