Always Present Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals with warm hearts to serve as companion volunteers for our patients.
As a companion, you will have the opportunity to visit patients in their homes or care facilities, offering the simple yet powerful gift of your presence. Your role is to be a friend—engaging in activities that bring comfort and joy based on each patient’s interests. Whether it’s sharing conversation, playing games, enjoying a card match, or reading aloud, these meaningful moments can make a lasting impact in someone’s life. At Always Present Hospice, we provide comprehensive volunteer training and ongoing mentorship to ensure you feel confident and supported in every interaction.

Because we serve a sensitive and vulnerable population, we take great care in selecting and supporting our volunteers. As part of this process, we conduct a brief in-person interview at our Gilbert office so we can get to know you and ensure you feel fully prepared and supported in your role.
