Description
These groceries won’t deliver themselves. We are seeking volunteers who will pick up and deliver groceries to homebound Washington County seniors.
Grocery pickups occur every Thursday between 9 AM and 12 PM and our clients purchase food from the Narragansett & South Kingstown markets that are closest to their homes. Each pickup may include 2 to 4 deliveries to senior’s homes.
This opportunity is available as a weekly commitment or “on call”, as needed. Don’t want to ride alone? Couples are welcome to sign up, as well.
