    About the Event:

    The Sonoran Writers Conference is a one-day gathering featuring expert panels, workshops, and presentations on craft, publishing, and marketing. The event supports writers at all stages—from first-timers to seasoned professionals—and is produced by Anthology, Inc., a 501(c)(3) literary nonprofit dedicated to promoting literary arts in the greater Phoenix community.

    Volunteer Roles May Include:

    • Greeting attendees and assisting with check-in
    • Helping manage panel rooms and speakers
    • Providing directions and information to guests
    • Supporting logistics, setup, and teardown
    • Assisting with student check-in and special sessions
    • Helping maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment

    Who We’re Looking For:

    Creative, detail-oriented individuals who love books and people—whether you’re a writer yourself, a student, or simply enthusiastic about literary arts. No prior conference experience required! You’ll receive training and support from the event team.
