    Description

The Angelwood Thrift Store is a new thrift store in the Jacksonville area, founded by Angelwood, a local non-profit that serves children, adults, seniors, and families living with intellectual and developmental differences such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Spina Bifida. The thrift store serves as a program to create employment opportunities for individuals living with intellectual and developmental differences, which not only provides a source of income, but also promotes independence and self-esteem. The thrift store will allow our community to volunteer and work alongside those we serve in a meaningful way while we help them build skills and prepare for more community employment.
