    Position Title: Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern

    Department: Sustainability, Investors Relations and Communications Department

    Location: Remote

    Description:

    The Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern will play a vital role in amplifying our mission through online channels by collaborating with the digital marketing team to create engaging content for various digital platforms, monitor social media channels, and analyze performance metrics to optimize online presence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Content Creation and Curation:

    • Generate engaging and impactful content for GYCAF's digital platforms, including social media channels, website, and newsletters, aligning with the organization's mission and goals.

    Brand Visual Identity Development:

    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of GYCAF’s brand visual toolkit (brand guidelines / visual charter), ensuring consistency across all digital and communication materials.

    Social Media Management:

    • Execute social media strategies to increase GYCAF's online presence and foster community engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Digital Campaign Support:

    • Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of digital campaigns that promote GYCAF's initiatives, events, and advocacy efforts.

    Community Building:

    • Foster and cultivate online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, creating a positive and interactive digital space for supporters and volunteers.

    Graphic Design and Multimedia Production:

    • Collaborate with design teams or tools to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and multimedia content that effectively communicate GYCAF's key messages.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other teams within GYCAF, such as marketing, outreach, and program management, to ensure cohesive and integrated communication efforts across various channels.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Digital proficiency and strong understanding of various social media platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
    • Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia creation tools is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
    • Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies (Canva, Google Drive, etc.)
