    Volunteer Opportunity, Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter

    Empower change by utilizing your professional expertise to ensure that fewer youths have to face challenges like skipped meals, gun violence, and poverty. At Season to Soar, we are committed to equipping underserved youth with the support they need to overcome these circumstances.

    As a volunteer, unpaid Recruiter with Season to Soar, you will play a vital role in shaping the future for underserved youth. You will lead the effort to attract, interview, and onboard individuals who are eager to make a meaningful impact. By expanding our team of volunteers, you will help us reach more communities in need and provide essential support to those facing challenging circumstances.

    Responsibilities:

    Mange the full cycle of recruiting from posting open roles on volunteer and job platforms, communicating with candidates, scheduling and hosting interviews, making offers and onboarding

    Identify and engage potential volunteers who are aligned with Season to Soar's mission.

    Provide comprehensive information about available volunteer roles and address questions or concerns from potential volunteers.

    Develop and implement effective strategies and policies to optimize Season to Soar's volunteer recruitment efforts.

    Thoughtfully match potential volunteers with opportunities based on their skills and interests.

    Time Commitment:

    Estimated commitment of a total of 5 hours per week, entailing 2 hours of virtual meetings per week and approximately 3 hours executing projects and tasks outside of meetings

    This position has a term length of 1 year.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role is preferred.

    Passion for Season to Soar's mission and commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.

    Effective verbal and written communication abilities to engage and inform potential volunteers about Season to Soar's initiatives and opportunities.

    Strong organizational skills to manage and coordinate volunteer information.
