    Director of Photography / Camera Operator

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Director of Photography / Camera Operator to own the visual quality of our productions.

    This hands-on role is responsible for camera operation, shot composition, framing, lighting, exposure, and overall visual consistency. You’ll work closely with the Show Producer, creative team, and production crew to translate creative concepts into polished, professional visuals.

    What You’ll Do

    • Operate cameras during live and recorded productions.
    • Own camera setup, positioning, framing, focus, exposure, and movement.
    • Design and manage lighting setups that support the desired look and mood.
    • Determine camera angles, shot composition, and visual approach for each production.
    • Ensure consistent image quality across cameras and scenes.
    • Collaborate with producers, directors, talent, and creative teams on visual direction.
    • Prepare and test cameras, lenses, lighting, monitors, and related equipment before production.
    • Troubleshoot camera, lighting, and visual-quality issues during shoots.
    • Support rehearsals, production setup, and breakdown.
    • Help establish camera, lighting, and production standards as the organization grows.
    • Maintain organized handling and care of production equipment.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in cinematography, videography, camera operation, television, film, livestreaming, or digital production.
    • Strong understanding of cameras, lenses, exposure, focus, framing, and composition.
    • Experience setting up and working with professional lighting.
    • Strong eye for visual storytelling and image quality.
    • Ability to work comfortably in fast-moving production environments.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to take creative direction while also making confident visual recommendations.
    • Reliable and available for in-person production work in the Atlanta area.
