Be the one to help bring out the hospice patient’s true beauty by helping them find the light from within. Our hospice patients love receiving hand written cards from a hospice volunteer. The cards brighten their day and they truly appreciate them.

Our hospice office supplies the patients’ names and addresses, and the cards, envelopes, and stamps. We can also provide ideas for what to write on the cards, or you can create your own messages. We do ask that you write the cards in the Bristol Hospice Bend office due to HIPPA laws.

The cards may be written weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the volunteer’s time.

Getting a handwritten card in the mail may be the highpoint in a hospice patient’s life. It takes so little time in a volunteer’s life to be the light in someone facing the end of their life.
