    Help your neighbors ; Volunteer for Hospice !  ORGANIZATION: GENTIVA HOSPCE

    Are you interested in making in-person visits ? Do you want to help those in your community who have life limiting illnesses?

    Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients at local healthcare facilities or their homes in the Worcester County Area .

    Volunteer are needed who can:

    • Play Music
    • Read to patients
    • Help patients video chat/connect with love ones who are unable to visit them due to travel, health etc
    • Are veterans interested in supporting veterans on hospice
    • Are you willing to listen and talk, play cards, or watch a favorite show ?

    *Volunteers do not perform any clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting , bathing or transferring.

    *Volunteers schedule their own visit - day/time

    *Volunteer receive training that fits into their busy schedule
