    Job Overview:

    The Design Manager is responsible for leading and inspiring a team of talented designers to create exceptional user experiences across our product portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Design Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency, quality, and alignment with business goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UX/UI designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
    • Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with company objectives and enhance the user experience.
    • Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate design into the product development process.
    • Design Review: Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure design excellence and consistency.
    • User Research: Incorporate user research and usability testing into the design process to inform and validate design decisions.
    • Design Standards: Establish and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure a cohesive visual identity.
    • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate new ideas to continually improve our design processes and products.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
    • Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
    • Design Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, visual design, and interaction design.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, providing clear direction and support.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and other relevant software.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
    • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • User-Centered Approach: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
