    Please Note: This is a U.S. based remote volunteer role. At this time, we are only able to consider applicants residing in the United States. Applications that do not meet this requirement may not be reviewed.

    Marketing Support Volunteers (Unpaid)

    Commitment: ~10 hours per week (U.S. based remote)

    Point of Contact: Marketing Director, Assistant Director, and sub team manager

    What You’ll Do

    The Volunteer will support ACDC’s digital communications, content development, and online presence under the guidance of the department leadership. The following are the focus areas for the Marketing Department, and the Volunteer will support one or more focus areas depending on their background and interest.

    Social Theatre Focus

    • Assist in scheduling and organizing social media posts across ACDC platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
    • Support engagement efforts by responding to comments and helping maintain a welcoming and professional online presence.
    • Observe social media trends and share ideas that may enhance audience engagement.
    • Support exploration of additional platforms, when applicable, by assisting with basic research or content adaptation to help expand ACDC’s digital presence.
    • Provide general support for ongoing digital outreach initiatives.

    Creative Studio Focus

    • Assist in creating graphics, short videos, and promotional materials using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
    • Support visual content development for social media, website pages, newsletters, and outreach campaigns.
    • Contribute to maintaining brand consistency across materials by following established guidelines.
    • Assist with revisions, formatting updates, and adapting designs for different platforms or audiences.
    • Offer creative input and collaborate with team members on new campaign ideas as requested.

    Impact Lab Focus

    • Support keyword research and basic SEO-related tasks under team guidance.
    • Assist with tracking website or campaign metrics using tools such as Google Analytics.
    • Contribute to drafting or editing blog posts, website content, or campaign materials.
    • Help compile summary reports on engagement, traffic, or campaign performance.

    What We Look For

    You may be a great fit to support this mission if you have an interest or background in the following:

    • A strong interest or background in contributing to digital marketing, design, or analytics initiatives.
    • A commitment to creativity and a high level of attention to detail when assisting with organizational projects.
    • Familiarity with at least one relevant tool (such as social media platforms, Canva/Adobe, Google Analytics, or SEO tools) to assist the team in sharing ACDC’s mission.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to collaborate in a flexible, remote environment.
