    Description

Homework Club at Washington United Church of Christ

As a homework club volunteer at Washington United Church of Christ you will tutor elementary students.

These students are experiencing poverty. Each student is paired up with a volunteer who serves as their tutor.

    • Primary Tutor Tasks/Responsibilities
    • Spend time developing a connection with their student during a meal time and free time
    • Work individually with their student on their homework and other academic enrichment. Each tutor will work with the same student each week, so that they can build a relationship with them and become familiar with their academic strengths and weaknesses.

So whatever your passion and purpose is, we are here to connect you to local nonprofits.

Our program is exclusive to those 55 years+ in and around Hamilton County.
