Description
Santa Barbara County has the 2nd highest level of people experiencing food-insecurity in California. Community Groups are needed to provide a meal once a month to a group of people experiencing extreme poverty. This is a great opportunity for a group interested in helping others in an impactful way. Our model is to engage groups to provide a meal once a month. The group is responsible for bringing a complete nutritious dinner meal to share with 40 people. The service usually takes no longer than 45 minutes from set up to finish. We will work with the group to ensure a successful event. Please respond with interest to provide a monthly meal. This is a small group opportunity. Thank you for considering this service to others.
