Description
Bring your group together to make a lasting impact in our parks! Groups ranging in size from 5–50 volunteers can take part in one-time service projects that support the health and beauty of our gardens and natural areas. Learn more and submit an interest form here.
Group Service Projects:
Ideal For:
- Groups of 5–30 volunteers (larger sites may accommodate up to 50)
- Corporate teams
- Spiritual and community organizations
- Clubs and schools
- Families and youth groups
Availability:
Season: April–November (weather dependent)
Times: Weekday mornings or early afternoons
- Limited weekend availability
- 2–hour time slots between 8-3pm
- Occasional late afternoon or early evening sessions available
Typical Project Tasks:
- Spring and fall garden and landscape clean-ups
- Planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching in gardens and along trails
- Invasive plant removal (e.g., buckthorn)
- Litter pickup near waterways
