    Description

    Hospice patients often appreciate a calm presence. Someone who will sit with them, listen, and simply share a little time together.

    As a Hospice Companionship Volunteer, you may:

    • Sit and visit with a patient
    • Listen to their stories and life experiences
    • Read, watch TV, or listen to music together
    • Play simple games or look through photos
    • Provide peaceful companionship so they feel less alone

    There is no medical care involved. Your time and presence are what matter most.

    This role is perfect for someone who:

    • Enjoys quiet conversations

    • Prefers one-on-one visits

    • Is compassionate and a good listener

    • Wants to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life
