    Description

    ✨Help Us Bring Comfort & Connection - Volunteer with Amedisys!✨

    Join Amedisys as a hospice volunteer and bring comfort, connection, and kindness to patients and families. Whether you write birthday cards, make tuck-in calls, or simply sit beside someone in their final hours, you are the light they’ve been waiting for!

    Volunteers are a vital part of our care team - no experience required. We provide training, flexible scheduling, and ongoing support. If you have a compassionate heart and a few hours to share, we'd love to welcome you.

    🧭 Roles Include:

    • Direct patient care
    • Pen pals & card writing
    • Tuck-in calls
    • Vigil sitting
    • Office support

    ✅ Requirements:

    • Minimum age is 16 years old
    • Minimum age for direct patient care is 18 years old
    • Background check required
    • Driver's License required
