Power Hour Volunteer Role: What You’ll Be Doing
A Power Hour is a focused, one-hour fundraising push where our entire team works together over Google Meets. As a volunteer, you’ll help us build energy and momentum by reaching out to friends, family, and your wider network through texts, messages, or emails to ask for support.
During the hour, you’ll:
- Send personalized messages to people you know
- Help share updates and keep the momentum going
- Encourage other volunteers and celebrate milestones as we hit them
- Support the team by asking your network for donations
The idea is to make a big impact in a short period by having everyone participate at once. It’s fast-paced, collaborative, and a great way to directly support our mission even if you only have a small window of time. Volunteer hours will be awarded.
