Post Adoption Community Manager

Are you passionate about animal welfare and want to help rescued pets find their perfect homes? Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is looking for a dedicated Adoption Follow-Up Coordinator to join our volunteer team.

About Us:

Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.

Role Summary:

As a Post Adoption Community Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the entire group of adopters and connecting them with the Dulce Vida Rescue community.

You will be responsible for:

• Checking in with families who have already adopted dogs to see how the adoption is going
• Providing guidance, resources, and support to adopters as needed
• Ensuring the continued well-being of adopted animals and strengthening positive adopter relationships
• Taking lead on organizing community meetup events
