Bring Comfort, Conversation, and Connection to Someone in Their Final Chapter

No one should face the end of life alone. At Agave Hospice, we match compassionate volunteers with patients across the Valley who are in their final weeks and months. Many of our patients spend their days without visitors - you could be the friendly face, listening ear, or gentle presence that makes a world of difference.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit patients in their homes, nursing facilities, or assisted living communities

• Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, sharing stories, or simply sitting quietly together

• Provide moments of comfort, dignity, and connection during a profoundly important time

• Comprehensive training in hospice philosophy, communication, and end-of-life support

• Ongoing guidance and support from our volunteer coordinator
