Volunteer: Community Baby Shower – October 10 | Council Bluffs | 2–4 PM

Spend an afternoon helping welcome local expecting parents and families with newborns at our annual Community Baby Shower. Volunteers can choose from a variety of roles, including greeting families, registration, children’s activities, raffles, resource assistance, and distributing baby packages. There are a number of roles volunteers can assist with:

Greeters: Welcome families and help direct attendees.

Registration: Assist with check-in and confirm participant information.

Interpreters/Translators: Help communicate with families who speak Spanish to help guide them through the event.

Package Assistance: Help find and distribute prepared packages to the families and assist with carrying items to their vehicles if needed.

Resource Table: Welcome visitors to the community resource area, answer general questions, and help connect families with participating organizations and available services.

Raffle Table: Help guide attendees at the raffle table, explaining how it works and assisting them filling out their tickets

Children's Corner: Assist creating a welcoming space for children by assisting with games and activities in the children's corner.

Informational Sessions: Help attendees find the room with info sessions, welcome them, and help attendees set up translation devices when needed.
