    Description

Gentiva Hospice is seeking volunteers to cut patients' hair and help them feel beautiful! We have a few patients who are not able to leave their homes due to mobility issues or pain, but who still deserve to feel beautiful and neat.

Your help can really make a difference in a hospice patient's life!

Since you'll be visiting patients, we do require a TB test, drug screen, fingerprinting, background check, and completion of a training session. Our volunteer training covers topics including general information about hospice, code statuses of patients, typical diagnoses and symptoms you'll see in hospice patients, and what to do in emergency situations.

For more information or to apply, please email kimberlyn.wideman@gentivahs.com or call for Kimberlyn at 614-414-0500.

Join our team of exceptional, caring volunteers!
