    Marketing & Social Media Manager

    Organization: Children Striving Together

    Location: Remote

    Time Commitment: 7-15 hrs per week for 6 month committment, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement

    About Us:

    Children Striving Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentorship, resources, and positive outlets for youth in underserved communities. Our mission is to create safe spaces that foster growth, creativity, and support, enabling every child to thrive.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic volunteer to assist with Marketing & Social Media efforts to promote and expand our mission. This role can be supported by more than one individual, as we are looking for various levels of contribution. The ideal candidate will help develop our online presence, assist in campaign management, and communicate our mission effectively to internal and external audiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Website & Social Media Management: Develop and manage the organization’s website and social media pages, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with our mission.
    • Campaign Management: Conduct email and print campaigns targeted at our donor base and support network, ensuring effective outreach and communication.
    • CRM Use: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to engage and maintain connections with stakeholders.
    • Communication: Effectively communicate our mission and initiatives both internally and externally to raise awareness and build support.
    • Public Relations: Collaborate with media outlets and the public to ensure broad visibility of our programs and initiatives.
    • Marketing Materials: Design and create marketing materials that reflect the mission and goals of Children Striving Together.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Proven experience in marketing and social media management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
    • Creative Skills: Strong design skills, especially in creating marketing materials and engaging digital content.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
    • Passion for Mission: A deep commitment to supporting underserved youth and community-based work.
