AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to make quality assurance calls to patients receiving care at home or in facilities. These calls help ensure patients have the medication, supplies, and staff support they need—and that they feel heard and cared for.
🌟 Volunteer Role Includes:
- Making scheduled check-in calls to patients or caregivers
- Asking guided questions about medication, supplies, and staff support
- Documenting responses and reporting any concerns to the care team
- Offering a warm, empathetic presence over the phone
🧡 Ideal Volunteers:
- Are friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Have strong communication and listening skills
- Are comfortable using a phone and basic documentation tools
- Can commit to 1–2 hours per week (or more if desired)

To apply for this Circle of Care Quality Call Volunteer role:

- All applicants must complete our general volunteer application for indirect service roles.
- Consent to Background Screening
- A background check is required to ensure a safe and trustworthy environment.
- Complete Bereavement & Quality Call Training
- Volunteers will receive training on grief sensitivity, communication, and quality assurance protocols. Training is flexible and available online or in person.
- Optional Work Sample (Preferred Format: PDF or Word)
- If you have prior experience in healthcare, customer service, or support roles, feel free to submit a short reflection or sample call script.
